It took me some time to poll all the family members and make sure they were okay with having our pictures on the web. I am so happy to tell you that everyone thinks it's a wonderful idea. So go right ahead and post our picture book. I am so glad you like it. You give us high praise. I know that Felceto is a business for you and Jussara, but please know that we all feel like you were much more than inn-keepers to us. The love you have poured into Felceto is obvious to us, and we are so greatful to have had our vacation there.

Alas, I write with much sadness,as it is as difficul to leave this beautiful place. Podere Felceto is a vacation better than I could have imagined. After touring Rome, this was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of the Italian countryside. The view are spectacular, the sunset incredible, the home warm and confortable, and our hosts so generous and kind. All of the "extras" you offered, the wine, the special organic vergin olive oil, special panzano bread with grapes and walnuts, the pizza dinner, arrival meal and most of all, our wonderful conversations, made our stay so special.

For the last 3 weeks in the morning we wok e up to enchanted panorama, that's the beautiful Tuscan regian.. Just like a post card. Our hosts, Jussara & Roberto and their 2 lovely daughter, Yara & Sara made us feel right at home, where we felt every minute the full Tucan hospitality. How could forget them. How could we forget also the exquisite cuisine. Every night a diffrent 4 course dinner was prepared by the Felceto's chef Jacopo, honoring us with delicious selection of reginal Tuscan dishes and desserts.

Che Piacere vivere "La Dolce Vita" In un posto così incantato come "Podere Felceto".
Una volta poetico, una volta romantico, rustico, a volte raffinato e bucolico.
Sempre un paesaggio di pace e tranquillità. Spero che le immagini di questa meravigliosa parte del Chianti Toscano rimamnagno in me per sempre.
Non ho mai incontrato nei miei molteplici viaggi persone più simpatiche di Roberto, più accoglienti di Jussara, più carine e sorridenti che Yara e Sara.
Che dire di più!!! Oh,! i profumi della casa, dell'aria e quelli divini che venivano dalla cucina quella sera che Jacopo, il cuoco, ha preparato la cena per tutti noi., quattordici affamati..
Allora Grazie per tutto, grazie per averci ospitato nella vostra villa e grazie per la bella festa nell'anniversario nel compleanno di mio marito e per l'anniversario del nostro matrimonio.

We new this place was going to be beautiful, but we could never imagine how beautiful. This is heaven, peaceful, tranquil and beauty every where you look.
Our intire family visited plus some friends. We celebrate 2 birthday, with the most divine dinner.The cooking lesson was really education and the food was extraordinary.
This is the best vacation we ever had. It is sad that we have to leave, but the memories will last a life time

We planned this as a multi generational vacation: my sister and I, Mike and Cindi, Lee and Bernadette and all the children - a chance to be together in a very beautiful part of the Chianti .
I am sorry that my youngest daughter and her husband could not be with us the all time. Such excitement everyday!!!
Your welcoming ways are a joy to your guests. We enjoy meeting your beautuful daughters as well!

It is impossible to think that vacation place could be more beautiful, more sereno and complete with accomodation than what the Del Mastio have done in Felceto. We are looking forward to being here again. The memories of Felceto will always be with us.

Dear Family of felceto,

My favorite part of all I visited in tuscany is right here at the end of the road outside of Panzano! "la bella vista" of the olive orchads, grapevines and forests with the little fatorias on the slopes are pretty when the sun is shining brightly on them or when the clouds are collecting moisture for a summer thunderstorm.
I love the old (300 years?) stone farmhouse and how Jussara and Roberto are restoring and modernizing it for tourists who want to fall in love with old Italy's Tuscan environs. Our cildren had such fun rolling the billard balls into thier holes, learning to play ping-pong outside and throwing rubber balls into the cool swimming pool.
The Jacopo delicious Tuscan dinner on the grape-covered porch after dark with the candle light was delightful as we kept chatting with Roberto as he served every course.
While we loved our explorations to Siena, to the Florence museums, Greve, San Geminiano to see the medieval and the cultures of Tusca people, we were always happiest when we returned to our home at Felceto.
Grazie, Jussara and Roberto, for sharing your house with us. We hope someday to return.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable ! Le cadre est magnifique ! La campagne toscane, surtout dans cette région du chianti est exubérante! Et quelle vue autour d\'une superbe piscine (j\'ai même envoyé une photo). La maison, typiquement toscane, est très confortable ; des belles chambres, une très grande cuisine toute équipée et le séjour fort agréable ! Toute la maison est très bien décorée. Et l\'accueil est très chaleureux et nous tenons à remercier la famille Del Mastio pour ce séjour inoubliable!

I just came home from the tennis court, played two hours as it is a lovely day here in Virginia. However, It would be wonderful to be at Felceto now that spring has sprung. The view in the spring must be as awesome as summer.....and I wish I could bring my whole family back not only in spring, but fall and winter, too. How much we loved our time with you in 2008. Our stay at Podere Felceto was terrific and the two of you were great to us. You were so welcoming and the breakfast you prepared was delicious. Thank you for all of your advice on where to visit and where to eat. Thank you for your help with pre-booking the winery tour and tickets to L'Accademia. Your suggestions helped us create wonderful experiences that Steve and I will remember always. The salt water pool was great and the view from the window of our cottage was breathtaking. You both treated us more like family than customers. We miss Felceto already!

On our journey throughout Tuscany, we spent a couple of days in this very nice B&B within this lovely valley. We were received very warmly by Roberto and his lovely wife Jussara who provided us with very interesting information and suggestions on the region (e.g. they sent us to a local butcher/opera singer and told us where we could find the best pizza's). The valley is an oasis of silence and a very good place to relax. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some time in Tuscany!

We have just arrived back in California and still feel warmed by the experience we shared with you at your wonderful home. I know I speak for my whole family when I say that it was truly one of the most wonderful experiences we have had in our lives. Thank you so much for everything. I truly feel like a piece of us will always be there and we know we must return to visit you some day ? and we will.

Our Very Successful Vacation

Dearest Roberto and Jussara,



Life has been extremely busy since we arrived home, but it goes without saying we have not stopped thinking or tlaking about you and our wonderful stay at "Podere Felceto". To all of us it felt like our home away from home! And because of our wonderful neighbors, being yourselves, it was the very best holiday ever.

Last night Doug, Sophia and the girls were over for dinner (Kelley and all are still in France, and Billy had a DATE!!)and we all agreed our Anniversary Dinner was the very best meal we had in our two weeks in Italy. The little ones have not stopped talking about the "chocolate cake"!!! And by the way one of the pictures I sent looks like Carl is "50" with the cake sitting in front of him, and of course he loves that picture the most!!!

You, Jussara & Roberto and your lovely daughters made us feel as if we were family and I have to say Madeline, our dear 14 year old, felt very secure knowing you both were there for her, if needed, which was a great peace of mind for all of us. I thank you both so very much for that little extra TLC you had to give to little Lauren when she fell on the gravel.

I do hope you enjoy a few of the many pictures Carl and I took, and when everyone is settled in once again, I'm sure there is more to come.

We have already sent your website to a few of our friends who are thinking of doing the same trip as we did with their family's as we have not stopped talking about this wonderful home and the people that own it.

Hope this finds you all in good health and now that the girls have finished their exams you are enjoying the summertime.

At Felceto we had a wonderful time. It could have been warmer but everything else about the farmhouse and Panzano in Chianti could not be more perfect. Thank you for your generosity and hospitality. Unfortunately, my pictures aren't the greatest. But my memories will be the greatest.
